Hello. My name is Rose and I'm a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with extensive experience working with both couples and individuals. I hold a Higher Level Diploma in Couples Counselling and specialise in helping partners navigate the complexities of their relationships. I provide a safe, confidential, and calm space where you can feel relaxed enough to explore your challenges in a constructive way.

I understand that a 'one-size-fits-all' approach does not work for everyone, so I carefully adapt my style to each couple’s unique situation. My primary goal is to assist both partners in communicating more effectively, helping you gain a deeper understanding of yourselves and each other. We will explore how miscommunication and subjective interpretations can cause hurt or resentment, moving towards a healthier way of relating.

As a psychotherapist, I draw from various approaches depending on your specific needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Humanistic, and Solution-Focused Therapy. By combining these methods, I can support you in achieving your specific goals. Taking the first step for support can feel daunting, but I pride myself on being warm and easy to talk to, ensuring you have a non-judgemental environment to express your vulnerabilities.

## Background & Experience

I am an accredited member of the BACP and hold a Higher National Diploma in Couples Counselling, alongside qualifications in CBT, Forensic Psychology, and Therapeutic Counselling. This diverse academic background allows me to understand the complex psychological aspects of human behaviour and partnership dynamics.

Before specialising as a Couples Counsellor, I gained extensive experience working across the Criminal Justice System, Drug and Alcohol Services, and NHS Mental Health. These roles fuelled my passion for psychological care and emotional support, leading me to focus on empowering clients with the practical tools they need to take control of their lives and improve their most important relationships.

I will provide a safe and comfortable environment where you can both express your thoughts, feelings, and vulnerabilities without judgement.

I will guide you to help you really listen, hear, and understand each other’s perspectives.
