    About Katrina

Hello, my name is Katrina and I’m a fully qualified Psychotherapist and Couples Counsellor. I provide a warm, welcoming, and safe space where you can openly express, explore, and understand whatever is troubling your relationship. Together, we will work towards fostering a healthier dynamic between you and your partner, moving from merely surviving to truly thriving.

During our sessions, we will objectively examine the dynamics between you, ensuring both partners feel heard and respected. I will guide you in discovering better ways to communicate your innermost thoughts and feelings. We will explore how you express love and care for each other and how these gestures are received, creating the conditions for intimacy and passion to flourish once again.

Relationship challenges such as arguments, affairs, mistrust, or growing apart can be incredibly stressful. If a betrayal has occurred, I provide a neutral, compassionate space to process these emotions and gain clarity on your relationship’s future. Whether you choose to rebuild together or decide to part ways, I am here to support your journey with professional guidance.

Good relationships require time and attention, which often feel effortless during the early days but can become difficult to maintain under external pressures. My goal is to help you rediscover the motivation to invest that loving attention back into your partnership, building the awareness and skills needed to feel like a team once more.

    Background & Experience

I have over 30 years of experience and have always been deeply passionate about understanding the intricacies of human behaviour. My journey began in marketing and consumer insight, where I led teams in uncovering what drives people and how they relate to the world around them. This foundation in research and human dynamics eventually led me to transition into the therapeutic field.

I pursued extensive training in relational and embodied psychotherapy, as well as the use of the arts as a therapeutic tool. This diverse background allows me to support couples and individuals in a holistic manner, drawing upon creativity and self-knowledge to facilitate personal growth. My work has reached a wide range of groups, from the general public to young homeless people and fellow counsellors seeking professional development.

In my practice at Relationship Counselling Coulsdon, I combine my background in research and personal growth to foster a transformative environment. I am dedicated to helping couples navigate the complexities of their connection, using my skills in relational therapy to promote lasting change and meaningful connection.
