    About Stephanie

Hello, my name is Stephanie. I am a fully qualified Integrative Relational Counsellor, and I am highly experienced in working with couples and individuals. I provide a warm, empathetic environment where we can work together at your chosen pace, ensuring you feel comfortable enough to explore the challenges you are currently facing and work towards sustainable solutions.

Perhaps you are seeking couples counselling because communication has broken down, leaving you feeling hurt or unheard, or maybe an infidelity has come to light which feels impossible to overcome without professional support. I understand that taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting, particularly when opening up to a stranger for the first time. My role is to offer a calm, supportive space where you can explore these difficulties with empathy and structure.

I prioritise a collaborative working relationship, which means we will define common goals and work together to achieve them. I do not take a 'one size fits all' approach; instead, my sessions are personalised and structured for your individual needs as well as your needs as a couple. I also have a deep understanding of how addictions, neurodiversity, and mental health issues can impact relationship dynamics.

Ultimately, I believe that while we take care to align our values when we first embark on a relationship, people do change over time. It is highly unlikely that we remain unchanged by the challenges life throws at us. I am here to help you navigate those transitions, whether that means helping you reconnect or helping you to separate more peacefully when that is the right path.

    Meet Stephanie

    Background & Experience

My journey into therapy began after a career in the creative industry, where I became increasingly drawn to understanding team dynamics and supporting others to gain self-awareness regarding their working relationships.

Since qualifying, I have gained extensive experience working as a mentor and counsellor for organisations such as the Surrey Care Trust and Relate UK, alongside running my own private practice. My clinical training is grounded in a Level 5 Postgraduate Diploma in Relationship Counselling, which allows me to draw on various modalities including Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, and Transactional Analysis to best support my clients.

    How I Can Help

You will receive interventions designed to fit your unique relationship needs. Which means, I will ensure you both are equally heard and help you see that differences don’t always have to lead to conflict

We will explore how any unhelpful patterns of behaviour/communication might be negatively impacting your relationship

I provide practical tools and techniques to help you maintain positive communication and understanding beyond the couple therapy sessions.

My role is to help you reconnect with the reasons you chose each other in the first place. Then I will help you explore how your needs may have evolved over time and address any built-up resentment.

We will work together in a safe, calm environment to understand each other's intentions without judgment of whose behaviour is right or wrong.

I will support you in addressing built-up resentment and navigating difficult transitions or infidelities.

I'll help you spot patterns so you can understand each other better.
